Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and ExamAITutor. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use ExamAITutor.

2. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, use the service with the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher, and if you are under 18 a parent or guardian must approve any paid subscription.

3. Plans and what you get

• Free — unlimited paper uploads, 15 marked questions per month, basic feedback, up to 20 flashcards per generation and 5 generations per month.
• Premium Monthly (£9.99/month) — unlimited AI marking, detailed feedback with model answers, staged hints, unlimited flashcard generations (up to 300 cards each), weak-topic detection and advanced analytics.
• Premium Annual (£89.99/year) — the same Premium features, billed yearly and renewing automatically until cancelled.

4. Billing and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Premium Monthly renews automatically each month until cancelled; Premium Annual renews automatically each year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings and you keep Premium access until the end of the paid period. Prices include any applicable VAT and may change with notice — existing subscribers are told before a change takes effect.

5. Refunds

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase for a refund. Before checkout we ask you to confirm that you want Premium to start immediately and that you understand this right ends once you begin using the Premium features. If you have not used any Premium feature, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. After that, cancelling stops all future charges and you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for; part-used periods are not refunded. If something goes wrong technically, contact us and we will put it right.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you have no right to use, or anything unlawful, harmful or offensive.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, plan restrictions, authentication or rate limits.
• Do not scrape, resell, or bulk-export the service or its AI output.
• Do not use ExamAITutor to cheat in a live, supervised or controlled assessment.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it so we can run the features you asked for. Exam papers and mark schemes remain the copyright of their awarding bodies (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and others); we link to or process them for personal study only and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. The ExamAITutor software, branding and interface remain ours.

8. AI output and accuracy

Marks, feedback, hints, model answers and flashcards are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. They are a revision aid, not an official grade or a substitute for your teacher or the published mark scheme. Always check important answers against the official mark scheme.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may perform maintenance or update the product at any time. Your data persists across deployments and updates.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ExamAITutor is provided "as is". We are not liable for exam results, indirect losses, or loss of data beyond our control. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using ExamAITutor and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may terminate accounts for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with notice where reasonable.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
